Brought to you by Garden Route Trail and Nandos, the Geo Oyster Geocacheing competition offers to be a fun way to navigate around the town of Knysna and surrounds. The event is open to all festival participants and will take you to a combination of nature, site seeing and culturall destinations as you navigate to 12 way points to find clues that will unlock the 13th and final location. How to use the CODE MATRIX

  • The first grid on the CODE MATRIX is the conversion of the alphabet to a numerical value between zero and nine.
  • Each way point from #1 to #11 has a grid. For way points with word clues, the top row is for the clue and the bottom row is for the letter numerical conversion. For the way points with codes, the numbered code is inserted directly into the blocks.
  • The blocks with circles are numbered 1 to 14. The number inside the circle must be inserted into the corresponding numbered block for way point #12.
  • The final way point, #12, will be revealed when you have collected all the clues and codes from way points #1 to #1
