Daily Winners:

Here are the way points for the 2010 Geo Oyster.Have fun and enjoy the adventure!

Day 4 - Thur 8th July :

While we were expecting a rush for the way points, it seems that the proceedings of Xterra got in the way of the Geo Oyster. Most teams had a late search with Team Wilson getting second prize at both WP 8 & 9 after 16h00. Tean Ke Nako needed some asisstance with WP 9 in the dark at 20h00 - they did not have a torch and took the clues seriously, checking with us that they would not get eaten by some nocternal creature.

Day 3 - Wed 7th July :

Today we had a clear winner for both way points - clearly Team Naughty Forty's are taking the Geo Oyster seriously, or they just get out of bed earlier than the rest. But will they be able to crack the Sudoku on Friday to secure an over all win? Unfortunately our late entrants, Team Lau, have to depart tomorrow. They have done well to catch up and even managed get a daily prize. Hopefully next year they plan more time for the oyster Festival before heading home.

Day 2 - Tue 6th July :

Winners today were mixed despite the wind and rain making conditions less than ideal - First to WP 4 were the Naughty Forty's followed by Team Wilson. Obviously intent on declaring their navigational and sporting abilities, Team Naughty Forty's bagged WP 5 as well, folowed by Team Lau, late entrants, who went on to collect the three WP from Monday. The yellow jersey went to Team Naughty Forty's. Thank you to Nandos and Pick n Pay for the Prizes.

Day 1 - Mon 5th July :

For a start to the Geo Oyster everyone headed west for three waypoints. With one of the WP's out on Gerikes point it was agood idea to check the tide tables. after that it was a race to the second Wp for the first daily prize from Nandos. This was also the first time the organisers would get to 'meet' the teams as they all had to text a photo of them at the WP to be eligible for the prize. Clear winners by half an hour were Team Ke Nako.
